This course is intended for individual and/or couple therapists from various fields, to work with couples by combining tools from the world of physical psychotherapy, techniques of awareness, discourse, movement, touch and breathing. The learning process will provide the individual therapist with tools for coping and treating couples, while expanding and empowering themselves. In a journey of experiential and theoretical learning, we will learn about the complexity of couple therapy, which requires the inclusion of "four" in the therapy room: the two partners, the couple, the therapist and of course the relational connections between all of them.
Body psychotherapy is a mental-physical-energetic treatment method. The approach to couples and families is holistic and looks at the various layers within us: thought patterns and behavior, physical structure and body image, breathing patterns, movement and posture, physical emotional expression, couple and family resonance, body-mind relationships, psychosomatic problems, sexuality, belief systems, personal and couple potential, and more.
In each class, we will learn and practice individually, as a couple, and in a group, unique treatment methods for working with couples from the world of psychotherapy, in discourse, movement, awareness of breathing and the body, sculpture from the world of Virginia Satir, modeling, and more. Through the process of learning and personal development, we will see and examine different situations in couple and family therapy. During the year, we will expand our individual therapy capabilities for working with couples and bring therapeutic cases for discussion and guidance. After completing the course, we will move to a group support and guidance framework (separately owned).

Ofir Kantor, individual and couples therapist, in Tel Aviv and Modi'in
My experience in a couples therapy course in physical psychotherapy with Gabriel was amazing.
I came to the course because I was taking care of children, and parent training, and I felt like I was missing something in working with parents, in their dynamics.
And studying with Gabriel fit me like a glove.
Today, I have been treating couples since I graduated, with great success.
The women who studied the course with me were also wonderful, and we have been in touch ever since.
The course is enriching and fruitful. I highly recommend it.
Anat Ben Israel, individual and couples therapist
Gabriel Shiraz and I are both colleague and trained Biodynamic Body Psychotherapists. Over many years I have, through my private practice and as a trainer, have been working with couples and family issues and was looking for a training in Couple Therapy from a Body Psychotherapy perspective. That s exactly what Gabriel’s Couple Therapy course offers! I found his course inspiring and filled with practical techniques which are supported by his extensive theoretical knowledge and many years of experience. I highly recommend Gabriel’s course for the therapists who want to enrich their knowledge base and add more variety to their private practice.

I first met Gabriel Shiraz at a couples therapy course for physical psychotherapists in Tel Aviv.
Two things immediately attracted me and strengthened my decision to take his course.
One of them was his extraordinary personal attention, intelligence and friendliness. He took a keen interest in my development and work. His level of encouragement, which touched on my studies, psychology and personal life, was unrivaled in my experience.
In fact, I enjoyed the different parts of the course - the theoretical and the practical - so much that I attended his course in both English and Hebrew.
I enjoyed his Zoom training during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in person. The second point that quickly emerges from his course is his therapy philosophy, which allowed and encouraged me to use my existing knowledge and experience and apply it to couples therapy.
That's why I was able to add 'couples' to my treatment portfolio.
Gabriel was a rock solid in terms of the guidance he gave me, and was (and still is) available for guidance whenever I needed it.
